With five exceptions, all the samples were reported as
genuine.
The two samples of milk shown as not genuine were derived
Room a milk supply produced in Hampshire. The first was taken
during a complete check on all the suppliers to one dairy in
Kingston, and it contained 4% added water. A formal sample taken
subsequently from the same supply was found to contain 5% added
water. An appeal to cow sample taken at the Hampshire farm
contained no added water, but the 'fat' content was high (4.07%)
whilst the 'solids not fat' were low (8,14%), Having regard to
all the circumstances of the case, a warning was sent to the
Producer and appropriate information was passed to the Hampshire
