MINISTRY OF FOOD PIPERS - 1946
During 1946 the following Orders were issued, each
of which had relation to the work of food inspection:-
No. 157. Food Standards (Self Raising Flour)
Reduction of minimum amount of available
Carbon Dioxide, and repeal of maximum
figure of total Carbon Dioxide.
No. 265. Increase of rate of extraction of
National flour from 80% to 82½%.
No. 312. Further increase of extraction rate
of National flour from 82½% to 85% and
of 'W' flour from 82½% to over 85%.
No. 385. Labelling of table jellies.
No. 537. Cessation of control of production
and distribution of Vitamin C.
No. 662. Further increase of extraction rate
of National flour from 85% to 90% and
of 'W' flour from over 85% to over 90%.
