Prior to 1942, no scheme existed for notification of cases
of scabies, and pre-war only a few cases came to the Public Health
Department.
Active measures are taken to ensure that all contacts are
Allowed up.
It was not necessary to invoke the special powers given under
the scabies Order for the examination of persons or premises.
