UNSOUND FOOD.
In order to simplify the statement as far as possible
no detailed reasons for condemnation are given in the tabular
statement below as v;as the practice in previous years. The
causes for condemnation have been grouped under three main
headings, a reference to which is given at the end of the
statement.
No special comment is necessary or even desirable at
the present time. The figures given are a sufficient indication
of the work involved by food inspection. Should a more

detailed report be called for at a later date, attention might be directed to the comparative figures for each of the five years.
