satisfactory and provided much useful experience and
information, but it is not possible to give further

BUILDING MATERIALS AND WORKS.
A war-time addition to duties has been in the
form of assistance to various government departments,
and one such instance, the certifying of applications
for permits to purchase timber, slates, etc., has extended
over several years, whilst more recently, there has been
the issue of certificates of essentiality in respeot of
applications for building work licences.
