Each case is considered or) its merits by the Maternity and Child
Welfare Committee and the proportion, if any, to he paid by
the mother, is assessed.

(b) Ophthalmic Clinic.

Ophthalmic treatment is not often required for children under five years of age, but when necessary these children are seen at the same time as school children. The following number of children were seen during the period under review:-
