only to action taken since the passing of the Housing Act,
1930 and has been amended so as to show the position as
the end of 1935.
With regard to overcrowding, three cases were found
during the year. One case was carried over from 1934
but three were abated during the year, leaving one known
case outstanding on the 31st December, 1935. During the
year the Housing Act, 1935 had been passed and provides
interalia for a general survey to be made of the district
so far as overcrowding was concerned. Arrangements were
in hand at the en.d of the year for the survey to be
commenced.

The following table gives particulars of the total houses erected during the year.
