SMOKE ABATEMENT.
The number of complaints of excessive smoke or grit
received during 1934 was 7.
Forty-two observations of chimneys were made.
I have heard it said from time to time that smoke is
not a problem which Kingston needs to bother about. This
is true if one considers it unnecessary to take action until
