The number of animals slaughtered at private slaughterhouses during the last six years is shewn in the following table:—

At the end of 1932, a private slaughterhouse at No. 90,
Acre Road was closed.
(iii) Nutrition.
No special work has been done on this subject. Information
and knowledge on this matter is disseminated by
the Medical Officers presiding at the Centre, and good work
in this direction is done by the Nurses when home visiting.
