Short "talks" to the mothers have been given regularly
throughout the year.
In March the sale of National Savings Certificates was
started at both Centres with satisfactory results.
£39 12s. 9d. was invested by GO mothers before the termination
of the year.
STAFF.
Miss A. Gill took over the duties of Senior Health
Visitor on January 1st, and Miss D. Rucklidge reported for
duty on the same day. Miss Rucklidge was appointed on
probation for 3 months and left the service on March 31st.
Some difficulty was experienced in filling the vacancy
with the result that the staff was short of one half-time
Health Visitor for a period of two months.
