administrative control of the Surrey County Council.
The Tuberculosis Dispensary was moved from Grove
Crescent, Kingston, to the new Clinic at Surbiton.
Maternity.
The Kingston Nursing Association, 33, Birkenhead
Avenue, undertake District Midwifery work.
Four private Maternity Homes are registered by the
Surrey County Council at the following addresses in the
Borough:—
Mrs. Burns: 9/11, Minerva Road. 8 beds.
Mrs. Burrows: 35, Balmoral Road. 1 bed.
Miss Duckett: 31, Queen's Road. 5 beds.
Mrs. Evans : 22, Fairfield South. 2 beds.
Mrs. Evans died in September and her Maternity
Home was Closed.
The Kingston and District Hospital (Board of
Guardians) has Maternity Wards.
