SCHOOL HYGIENE
A general review of the Public Elementary Schools was
given in the Annual Report for 1925, and a list of repairs
and improvements is set out each year.
During 1928 the following repairs have been carried
out:—
Bonner Hill Road School.
The whole of the external woodwork and ironwork of
the Boys', Girls' and Infants' Departments, including the
Caretaker's Cottage, have been painted, also the Lavatories
of all Departments have been redecorated.
Richmond Road School.
The whole of the external woodwork and ironwork of
the Boys', Girls' and Infants' Departments have been
painted.
The Bungalow Classroom has been redecorated both
internally and externally.
The Lavatories of all Departments have been redecorated.
Non-Provided Schools.
St. Peter's School.—Minor redecorations.
St. Paul's School.—Redecorations on reorganisation
St. Agatha's School.—Minor redecorations.
All Saints' School.—Walls and ceilings of Girls'
Department redecorated. Stoves repaired in Infants'
Department.
MEDICAL INSPECTION.
All Departments of every School are visited by the
School Medical Officer each term for the purpose of carrying
out Routine, Special and Re-inspections.

inspections was set out in the Annual Report for 1925.
