Health Exhibition.
A Health Exhibition was held at the Baths Hall, Wood
Street, on October 20th, 21st, and 22nd.
This was the first time a venture of this nature had been
attempted in the Borough.
No charge was made for admission, and it is estimated
that between four and five hundred persons visited the
Exhibition on each day, which must be regarded as highly
satisfactory.
A charge for floor space was made to stall holders of
trade exhibits.
The large Central Stand showed the activities of the
Public Health Department in all its branches, and was most
popular.
A working model of Sewage Disposal as carried out at
Kingston by the A.B.C. process was very kindly constructed
and exhibited by Mr. P. G. Lloyd, the Sewage Works
Manager.
