Due to an error In the classification of Langthorne Hospital In the
course of a review by the Registrar General the deaths of East Ham residents
in that hospital were not accredited to this area. This has been corrected
for 1954 and succeeding years, but local records shown that 79 males and
88 females died in Langthorne Hospital during 1953. These figures should
be added to those above to show the actual deaths of residents during the
year.
