Reference to Table 9, page 18 shows that 8,807 'mouths' were Inspected
and that of this number 7,634 pupils were found to require dental treatment
of one kind or another.
Although the totals for Inspection Include 2,727 'specials' which means
children who will almost certainly need more urgent treatment, yet the
residual 4,907 (7,634 - 2,727) still represents a high proportion of the
