The number of mental defectives on the register of the Occupation
Centre on 31/12/50, was 35 (18 males, 17 females). With the exception
of 1 female who attends afternoons only, all attend for the whole day.

There was one defective awaiting admission to the Centre on
31/12/50.
During the year under review, the defectives attending the Centre
made the following articles:-
settee backs, needle cases, teapot stands, soft toys,
pairs gloves, piano runner, knitting bag, peg bags, string
bags, shopping bags, oak stools, small mats, tea cosies,
cushion covers, wool rugs, rag rugs, tray cloth, trays,
repairs to rugs etc.
