The 2 midwives in (a) above carry out part-time Midwifery
service in the North Woolwich area and are employed by the
Silvertown and North Woolwich District Nursing Association.
The 9 midwives (7 of whom only gave part-time service in the
area) employed by the Hospital Management Committee are
from the Plaistow Maternity Hospital and District Nurses
Home, (local branch - Burges Road).
