PREVENTION OF BLINDNESS.
A full and complete report on the Prevention of Blindness
was submitted to the Council in 1937—no further action has taken
place.
THE INVALID CHILDREN'S AID
ASSOCIATION.
The Association has continued to help the Local Authority in
obtaining convalescent and sanatorium treatment when required
for children, and again I wish to record the invaluable assistance of
the Committee and Miss Webber, Secretary to the local branch
during the year.
The number of cases dealt with during 1947 was 365. The following are the particulars:—
