DENTAL INSPECTION AND TREATMENT.
The heading "Specials" in this Table relates to all children
inspected by the School Dentist otherwise than in the course of the
routine inspection of children in one of the age groups covered by the
Authority's approved scheme, namely, to children specially selected
by him, or referred by Medical Officers, parents, teachers, etc., on
account of urgency. The number inspected in each routine age-group
is separately shown, as well as the total, but under "Specials" only
the total number is given. Temporary fillings, whether in permanent
or temporary teeth, are recorded as other operations.
