Medical Aid.
Number of cases in which medical aid was summoned during the year under
Section 14 (i) of the Midwives Act, 1918, by a midwife:—
(i) For domiciliary cases 141
(ii) For cases in Institutions 25 Total 166
Health Visiting.
(a) Number of Health Visitors employed at the end of the year:—
(i) by the Council 6 full time and 1 part-time
(ii) by Voluntary Associations Nil.
(b) Equivalent of whole-time services devoted by the whole staff to Health
Visiting in the area (including attendance at Infant Welfare Centres.)

There were 13,108 attendances at the Clinics and 4,248 consultations.
