LABORATORY FACILITIES.
The same facilities exist as detailed in previous reports
for the examination of specimens.
During 1943, 805 specimens were examined at the East Ham
Memorial Hospital, and 15 pathological examinations were
carried out by the Counties Public Health Laboratories.

The number of Diphtheria swabs examined at the Infectious Diseases Hospital and the Town Hall Annexe Laboratory, was as follows:-

AMBULANCE . FACILITIES.
The two Town Ambulances which formerly operated from the
Fire Station, we re handed over to the A.K.P. Ambulance Section
on the outbreak of war and are now available at the Ambulance
Depot (Napier Road) Grangewood 3419.
Two Ambulances, in addition, are used for the removal of
infectious cases.
