The Invalid Children's Aid Association.
The Committee report another successful year's work in
their efforts on behalf of the children. Alderman Mrs. A. Taylor,
Chairman of the East Ham branch and her colleagues, have rendered
invaluable help in placing the large number of children in
suitable homes and hospitals. Close co-operation with appropriate
Institutions has ensured adequate treatment or convalescence
and the Council is appreciative of the great service
rendered. The Committee acknowledge the continued support
of the Council and Education Committee and the willing help of
the Borough Officials. An appeal is made for new workers to
fill vacancies that have recently occurred in order that the Association
may continue to function with its usual vigour and success.
