(d). Chemical and Bacteriological Examination of
Food.
The analysis of foodstuffs is carried out by Dr. Bernard Dyer,
Public Analyst, London, and bacteriological examinations by the
Counties Public Health Laboratories, London. Bacteriological
examination was made of a sample of Mussels. The mussels
were reported to shew evidence of pollution by sewage, and the
attention of the authority of the district wherein the mussels were
collected was drawn to the adverse report.
Unemployment and Outdoor Assistance
