a case fails to attend the School Clinic it automatically becomes
included in the following up list of one of the School Nurses.
The recent extension of facilities for orthopaedic treatment
at the East Ham Memorial Hospital has enabled the School
Medical Department to refer several cases to this Hospital, under
the general terms of agreement between the East Ham Corporation
and the Hospital Authorities.
(j) The Light Clinic.
A further twelve months' experience of actino-therapy does
not warrant any change of opinion as to the superior value of this
form of treatment, in the type of cases selected, over all other
measures which have been given a trial, and I can only confirm
my reports of previous years in this respect.

The opening of the Church Road Clinic has provided for the inclusion of a large number of children hitherto precluded from treatment by ultra-violet rays.
