1. Staff.
A list of the Staff of the School Medical Department will be
found at the beginning of this Report.
2. Co-Ordination.
The system outlined in my previous reports has continued
with beneficial results alike to staff and scholars.
3. The School Medical Service in relation to
Public Elementary Schools.
The sanitary arrangements and hygienic conditions of the
Schools are inspected by the Medical Officers and School Nurses
at each visit, and matters requiring attention are reported to the
Education Department.
A comprehensive programme for the improvement or replacement
of unsatisfactory and old-fashioned conveniences, lavatories
and cloakrooms has been adopted by the Authority. On the
whole, the sanitary conditions of the Schools are good.
4. Medical Inspection.
