(v) A sample of Suet contained moist and mouldy rice flour
to the extent of 15.3 per cent. A summons was laid but dismissed
owing to improper service.
Three hundred and ninety-one informal samples were taken,
of which 383 proved to be genuine. Of the non-genuine:—
(i) A sample of Milk was deficient in milk fat to the extent
of at least 33 per cent.
(ii) A sample of Beef Sausages was found to contain sulphur
dioxide in the proportion of 450 parts per million.
(iii) A sample of Whisky had a strength of 36 degrees under
proof.
(iv) A sample of Milk was deficient in milk fat to the extent
of at least 15 per cent.
(v) A sample of Suet contained extraneous moisture to the
extent of 4 per cent.
(vi) A sample of Milk was deficient in milk fat to the extent
of 5 per cent.
(vii) A sample of Whisky had a strength of 36 degrees under
proof.
