•Result of 6th case unknown. Parents removed from district to an address not
ascertainable.
CANCER.
The total deaths from Cancer during; 1933 show some
decrease over the number for the previous year, viz., 218 against
234, a decrease of 16 deaths.
More males died than females, which is unusual as far as
Cancer is concerned.
Propaganda has been carried out during the year on the
same lines as previously, namely, by the issuing of Circulars and
advertisements in the local Press.
It is not possible to state what use has been made by local
sufferers of the increased facilities now provided in National
Radium Centres.
No investigations have been taken as set out in Circular 1136
of 31st July, 1930.
