of anything being done, then gas is given for all necessary extractions.
One session per week is devoted to gas administration,
when a doctor is in attendance.
Regulation of teeth is carried out either by judicious extractions,
or by making regulation plates to bring the teeth into proper
alignment. Difficult cases are referred to dental hospitals, usually
Guy's Hospital or the London Hospital.

There is a general improvement in the teeth of the school children of East Ham.

Two sessions per week are devoted to the cases referred by
the Medical Officers of the Maternity and Child Welfare Centres.
Fillings are done when possible in both temporary and permanent
teeth, and extractions are carried out by gas or local injection.

dental nurses for their cordial co-operation and assistance during
the year, and also the School Medical Officers, Nurses, Teachers
and clerical staff.
