REPORT OF THE CHIEF SANITARY INSPECTOR
ON THE WORK PERFORMED BY THE SANITARY
INSPECTORS FOR THE YEAR, 1933.
To the Medical Officer of Health.
Sir,
In accordance with the Ministry of Health Regulations I beg
to report on the sanitary work carried out by the Sanitary
Inspectors during the year 1933.
The Staff of the Sanitary Section consists of one Assistant
Sanitary Inspector, five district Inspectors, and myself. There are
also one Disinfector and one Mortuary Attendant wholly engaged,
and two men, as required, from the Engineer's department for
drain clearing.
I have again to report that with the exception of 274 single
and 4 double new houses built there has been no material
alteration in the sanitary circumstances of the Borough, most of
the notes, therefore, are a reprint from the previous report.
The tables are corrected to date, and form a summary of the
monthly reports submitted to the Public Health Committee.
I am, Sir,
Your obedient servant,
GEORGE D. LILL.
