(a) Uncleanliness.
The School Nurses have carried out 3 cleanliness surveys
of all the children in the elementary schools during the year 1932.
During the year the School Nurses made 50,513 examinations,
as compared with 48,607 in 1931. Of this number 321
children showed vermin and many nits in the hair (273 in 1931),
whilst 1,637 children showed only a few nits (1,438 in 1931).
