Sanitary Inspection of the Borough.

Small Pox Contacts.
In addition to the foregoing inspections, 276 special visits
were paid in connection with small pox contacts.
Lettings.
Also 39 inspections were made in connection with houses
vacated by tenants occupying Council flats.
House-to-House Inspection.
As I have stated on former occasions, special attention has
been given to this branch of the work. The above table shows
5,908 house-to-house inspections for the year 1932, as compared
with 6,870 for the previous year. At 68.8 per cent. of these
visits sanitary defects were found.
