This is certainly an advance in the right direction as regards
increasing; the usefulness of the hospital, although needless to add
only cases of severity can be admitted and those only at a time
when the incidence of Diphtheria and Scarlet Fever permits.
General.
Except for a series of cases of "Hospital" Sore Throat the
health of the Staff has been particularly satisfactory. All members
of the Nursing and Domestic Staff are tested for susceptibility to
Diphtheria and Scarlet Fever and immunisation is offered to those
reacting positively.
