Professional Nursing in the Home.
(a) General.—The Nurses attached to the Branch Home in
Katherine Road of the Plaistow Maternity Hospital are carrying
out excellent work in the nursing of patients in their homes.
(b) For Infectious Diseases, e.g., Measles or the treatment of
Scarlet Fever, no provision is made.
Midwives.
No Midwives are subsidised by the Authority. The same
remarks apply to the midwifery work undertaken by the nurses
of the Plaistow Maternity Hospital and Sir Henry Tate's Home,
Woolwich, as made in last year's report.
