examined in accordance with the Bye-laws, and these were found
to be fit for employment.
In addition, 6 school children were examined under the Regulations
dealing with the employment of children at entertainments
and certified fit for participation in such employment.
Again the amount of work undertaken by the staff of the
School Medical Service during the year has been so great that no
time was available for satisfactorily carrying out any of the special
inquiries suggested by the Chief Medical Officer of the Board of
Education.
During the year 1931 the following special medical examinations
were made :—
