9. Midwives.
(а) Number practising in the area served by the Council for maternity
and child welfare at the end of the year, 52.

(iii) employed by Voluntary Associations, 42.
(c) Number of cases attended by midwives during the year:—
(i) as midwives, 902.
(ii) as maternity nurses, 25.
