To His Worship the Mayor, Aldermen, and Councillors
of the County Borough of East Ham.
Mr. Mayor, Ladies and Gentlemen,
I beg to submit the Annual Report on the state of the Public
Health and the record of sanitary work carried out during the
year 1929 together with my Report as School Medical Officer
in accordance with the Regulations of the Ministry of Health and
the Board of Education.
The Borough still occupies a very satisfactory position in
regard to mortality statistics—the death rate being 11.1 and infant
mortality 57.
