The total number of inoculations performed has been 732,
of which 135 were carried out by Private Practitioners and 597
at the Town Hall clinic.
The following figures are intended to indicate the number
inoculated and the age groups involved in the cases treated at the
Town Hall clinic and by General Practitioners

(ii) Private Practitioners, In addition to the above, 45 children have been inoculated three times by Private Medical Practitioners, and the ages at which inoculation was performed were as follows:β€”

N.B.β€”In considering the combined totals (i and ii) it will be
noticed that 29.1 per cent, of the cases were in the age group
1 to 5 years, 50.8 per cent, in the age group 6 to 10 years, and
20.1 per cent, in the age group over 10 years.
(iii) The Schick test for susceptibility to diphtheria has been
performed in 34 of the completed cases, and has proved negative
in each case.
Enteric Fever (Typhoid and Para-Typhoid).
2 cases were notified. 1 case died.
