The smoothness with which the Dental Clinic runs is in no
small measure assisted by the tact and patience of the Dental
Nurse, Miss Olifent.
Details of treatment given to mothers and children under
5 years of age, sent from the Maternity and Child Welfare Centre,
are given in the following table :—

The number of children treated shows an increase over those
for 1926. The work is very heavy and another session should be
devoted to the tiny tots. This will be possible when the Dental
Service is more fully staffed.
In conclusion, I wish to thank Dr. Elsie Thomson, the School
Medical Officers, the Nurses, the Clerical Staff, and teachers, for
their valued co-operation and assistance during the year 1927.
I have the honour to be, Sir,
Your obedient servant,
CYRIL S. NEAME.
