30
year, for the first time, X-ray examinations have been undertaken
in connection with the Dispensary. The number of attendances
for " light " treatment is exceptionally high, viz., 293, despite
the fact that the number of skin cases is low. This, however, is
due to the exceptional course taken by a patient who in order to
give the treatment every chance attended three times a week
regularly for a prolonged period. The cordial intimate relationship
existing between medical practitioners of the Borough and
the Dispensary staff has helped the work of that staff enormously,
and we hope that that relationship will continue. To the Nurses
and clerical staff of the Dispensary is of course due both gratitude
and thanks for their unassuming, tactful and efficient service
throughout the year.
