County Borough of East Ham
Education Committee.
Sir,
I beg to submit to you my report for the year 1925.
You will note from the following statistics that the age groups
inspected were from 5 to 9 years (inclusive); treatment has been
offered where necessary. The numbers inspected were 9,013, and
those referred for treatment 6,488. To these figures must be
added those which come under the heading of " Specials," numbering
257. These are cases of toothache, oral sepsis, etc., over ten
years of age, either referred by the School Medical Officers, or sent
by the Nurses and Head Teachers. Details will be found in the
following table :—
