poor development of binocular vision in early life, and should be
treated at its first appearance—not by waiting- till the child is five
years old. Difficulties beset the treatment, which in most cases
extends over long- periods. I have taken seven cases of squint
into the Royal Northern Hospital, Holloway, for operation during
the past year with, I think, improvement in all and cure in several

and draw attention to the excellent work done by the Nurses, the
Optician, and the Clerical Staff. The measure of success that has
been obtained is due to the kindly and efficient co-operation of all.

Yours very truly,
CHARLES LEONARD GIMBLETT.
