During the year there have been various changes at the
Dispensary owing to the political state—firstly, from the taking
over of the work by the County Borough Council from the Essex
County Council; and secondly, owing to the war. These changes
have not, however, interfered with the harmonious carrying on of
the work which appears at present to be very satisfactory. Every
facility is being given to patients to receive all the benefits that are
available. It was found necessary to largely revise the method of
keeping the records. This involved a great deal of clerical work,
but it was completed before the end of 1915, and is now up to date
and in good working order, and I find it very efficient. This clerical
work was done by Miss Stevens, the Dispensary Nurse, and I take
this opportunity of thanking her for the efficient way in which that
and her general work at the Dispensary has been done. I would
