nine cases; 5 to 15, twenty cases; 15 to 25, sixty-seven cases; 25
to 45, one hundred and twenty-one cases; 45 to 65, forty-five cases;
and 65 and upwards, six cases; whilst the Non-pulmonary were—
under 1 year of age, 4 cases; 1 to 5, twenty-two cases; 5 to 15,
sixty-six cases; 15 to 25, seventeen cases; 25 to 45, two cases; and
45 to 65, four cases.
Two hunderd and eighty-one specimens were forwarded by
medical practitioners for bacteriological investigation from
patients suspected to be consumptive; 230 were reported to be
negative and 51 positive.
Disinfection has been offered and carried out in 84 oases, including
89 rooms and 285 articles of bedding, etc.

Report of Tuberculosis Officer on the Working of the
Dispensary for the Year 1917.
I have the honour to submit the fifth report upon the work
carried out at the Tuberculosis Dispensary.
