Council will again become responsible for the administration of the
personal health services and so bring to an end the unsatisfactory arrangement
of so-called delegation under which some of these services have been
administered for the last 14 years.
Anticipating that it would be my last, in the introduction of the
report for 1960 I referred to the changes which had taken place since the
District was created in 1934; there has been no marked change in this last
year.
