SUPERVISION OF OTHER PREMISES
Routine work carried out during the year included the inspection
of factories, cinemas, licensed premises and many other buildings, water
courses and other sites. In the case of vacant parcels of land, it was
possible to take action to prevent unsatisfactory conditions arising ; while
in other cases inspections resulted in unsatisfactory conditions being
removed or improvements carried out.
