CONTROL OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES.
The communicable diseases are spread in many ways. In most of
them, the organisms are probably conveyed more or less directly through
the air from the infectious person who may be suffering from a frank
attack of the disease, or he might be one of a variety of carrier. A
