* The North-Bast and North-West Districts lie north of the centre of Uxbridge Road, to the Bast and West of Ladbroke Grove and Ladbroke Grove Road respectively (North Kensington): the Central and South Districts are south of Uxbridge Road (South Kensington.) § 288 Houses were registered in 1888. The total number on the Register, in March, in round figures, was 1,800. † The actual complaints of neglect, made by letter, were 27. ‡ Exclusive of proceedings, in 29 cases, under the Food and Drugs Adulteration Act, all of the Inspectors being Inspectors under the Act; and in 12 cases of " obstructions," on and over the public ways, but inclusive of 12 cases of disobedience of the Justices' orders.
