Tho following table will shew the number of deaths from Zymotic diseases as compared with the year 1860.

You will perceive that diarrhœa during the third quarter carried of the large number of 42 persons, but by referring to the table analysed according to age at death, you will notice that the mortality was almost entirely confined to children under 5 years of age.

From this number however must bo deducted 123 deaths which occurred
in the Hospital for Consumption, only 4 parishioners haying died
in that institution.

In the Cancer Hospital 17 deaths occurred all non-residents. To counterbalance the number of deaths there were born during the year:
