EMPLOYMENT OF CHILDREN
and
STREET TRADING BY YOUNG PERSONS.
In August, 1931, the Bye-laws made by the Leyton Local
Education Authority pursuant to the provisions of the Employment
of Children Act, 1903, as amended by the Education Act, 1921,
regulating (a) the employment of children generally, and (6) street
trading by persons under the age of sixteen years, within the
Borough of Leyton were confirmed by H.M. Minister and put into
operation forthwith.
