During the year these ladies have continued to render valuable
assistance at the infant welfare centres, where their services are
greatly appreciated. Without their assistance it would be impossible
to cope with the large numbers attending.
Health Visitors.
During the year the Health Visitors have made 17,790 visits
to homes, as follows:—
(а) To expectant mothers :—

(б) To children under 1 year of age:—

(c) To children between the ages of 1 and 5

Dental Treatment.
During the past five years the annual numbers of expectant
mothers and children under five years of age who have received
dental treatment in connection with the Council's scheme for
maternity and child welfare have been:—
